Capt Chris: I use a blackberry, but have not tried the Apple. BB does pretty much everything. More than I use. At first, the tiny keys were a pain. I still don't like to have to dial new phone numbers, but once they are in the address book, no problem. The Email is superb. AT&T is my carrier. GPS location on Google maps (free) works well when you are stationary. I put an 8GB SD card in, so plenty of room for tunes, photos, etc. Apple has the cool interface...BB is very functional. Not sure about the cost of the Apple's plan...Regards -- Gordo
